How to freeze dried foods?
I love the idea of freezing food but don’t know where to begin.
I don’t have a freezer, and it can take a while to get the ingredients to the right temperature, so I’m not exactly sure what to do with it.
For example, I could use it to make a keto frozen dessert, but I have no idea how to freeze it.
But now I know that you can freeze dried beans and tomatoes to use in keto recipes.
So here are five ways to freeze dry foods.

3-in-1 Dried Tomatoes, Garlic, and Avocado Frozen with Keto Sauce Ingredients For the Drying Sauce: 2 tablespoons olive oil For the Garlic and Onion Sauce: 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/4 cup dried oregano, chopped 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon black pepper For the Sauce: 8 ounces (240 grams) fresh basil leaves, chopped, plus more for garnish Directions For the Ketchup: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add onion, garlic, and salt and saute for 1 minute, stirring occasionally, until onions are soft and translucent.
Add oreganos, salt, and pepper.
Cook, stirring often, until vegetables are tender and onion is tender.
Add basil and cook for another minute, or until the basil is soft.
Stir in tomato sauce.
Season with black pepper.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
To make a low-carb, ketogenic ketogenic meal: In a small bowl, whisk together the following ingredients: 1 cup cooked or frozen vegetables (I use kale and spinach, as they are both super easy to freeze) 1/3 cup olive oil for the dressing 1/8 cup tomato paste 1/6 cup tomato puree 3 tablespoons water (to taste) 1 teaspoon dried ketchup Directions: In another large bowl, combine the dressing, tomato paste, and water.
Stir until well combined.
In a separate bowl, mix together the tomatoes, basil, and ketchup.
Add the water to the dressing mixture and stir well.
Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
To serve: Drizzle the dressing over the top of your favorite meal.
Garnish with fresh basil.
To freeze dried fruits: To freeze fresh fruits, combine 1/5 cup frozen or dried basil, 1/10 cup frozen mango, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon salt in a blender.
Blend until smooth.
To store dried fruit, freeze in airtight containers and store in the freezer.
