I was so eager to get a bite to eat at The Lion King when I first got there, because it was my first visit to a restaurant that I had never visited before.
I was also looking forward to the food, because I am a sucker for good food.
I was pleasantly surprised when the menu at The Tiger King on South Lake Union was a little too small for my liking.
The food was mediocre, but the place was pretty nice.
My friends and I ordered the Tiger Dragon Soup, which I thought was pretty good.
The Dragon was actually a tad too spicy, but I had to eat it anyways, because that’s what I’m used to at restaurants that aren’t Chinese.
I liked the shrimp and cabbage rolls.
The soup was not overly spicy and was very light.
The rice cake I got was good, but it lacked the crispy crunch and the sweetness of the Tiger’s chicken.
I wish that The Tiger was a bit more spacious because I really wish they had more seating.
I also wanted the beef and pork dish, but they had it so close to the bar that it made the soup almost too thick.
Overall, The LionKing was a very good restaurant.
It’s located at 622 South Lake, and it’s located right off of the Grand Central Terminal.
It was really easy to find because there are plenty of nearby restaurants.
The menu is a little basic, but everything was worth the wait.
I can definitely see myself coming back, and if I can find a good restaurant that is close to me, I might try that one.
