New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will visit Baldwin’s Super Bowl food kitchen in downtown Baldwin next week, according to the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.
The team will visit the Baldwin restaurant on Wednesday, Sept. 26, to watch a live commercial featuring Baldwin’s food, which is available to patrons for free, according a news release from the Baldwin chamber.
The food will be served by the Baldwin chef, along with food prepared by the chef, according the news release.
“Our community is incredibly excited to have Bill Belichick join us in Baldwin for this special event, which will be a great opportunity for Baldwin to celebrate our city’s culinary heritage and culinary talent, as well as to welcome our first NFL Super Bowl Champion,” said Kate Baldwin, president and CEO of the Baldwin Economic Development Corp. in a statement.
“We are honored to welcome him to the region and look forward to the exciting food and hospitality experience in Baldwin next month.”
Baldwin, which opened in January 2015, has hosted Super Bowls since 1996.
The Patriots will be the first NFL team to host a Super Bowl event there since 2000, when the Denver Broncos hosted the New York Giants in a pre-game celebration.
The last time the Patriots hosted a Super Bow was in 1996, when they hosted the Chicago Bears in a game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
